Analisis strategi penghimpunan wakaf uang tunai :: Studi kasus Badan wakaf uang tunai Majelis Ulama Indonesia Yogyakarta

ABSTRACT: This research is based on the lackness of societie’s understanding toward cash wakf and its big chance. The purpose of this research is to analyze the recent condition of Money-Cash Wakf Board at Indonesion Religious Affair (MUI) Yogyakarta, to know the preference of Wakif (the giver of wakf) toward the product of money-cash wakf accumulation and to understand the factors causing wakf preference toward the product of money-cash wakf,. The method of this research is SWOT analysis, frequency distribution and factors analysis, and is applied in the Province of Yogyakarta include: Yogyakarta City, Sleman, Kulonprogo, Bantul and Gunung Kidul Regency. The results of this research are firstly, the strategy which is used to accumulate cash-money wakf which applied at Money-Cash Wakf Board at Indonesion Religious Affair (MUI) Yogyakarta is “waiting” the ball and “Calling For” the ball, secondly, the societies’ preference toward product of money-cash wakf is an eternal product cash-money wakf, Thirdly, the determinants of Wakif preferencies toward Money-Cash Wakf are: wakif’s attitude factor, complain factor, productive action factor, equity factor, product characteristic factor, and religiousity factor as well as generosity factor.

INTISARI: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap wakaf tunai dan besarnya potensi wakaf tunai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kondisi BWU-T MUI DIY, mengetahui preferensi wakif terhadap produk penghimpunan wakaf tunai dan mengenalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi preferensi wakif terhadap produk wakaf uang-tunai Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis permasalahan ini, adalah model analisis SWOT, distribusi frekuensi dan analisis faktor. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah Propinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta meliputi: Kota Yogyakarta, Kab. Sleman, Kab. Kulonprogo, Kab. Bantul dan Kab. Gunung Kidul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama, Strategi penghimpunan wkaf uang-tunai yang dilakukan di BWU-T MUI DIY adalah metode “menunggu bola” dan metode “menjemput bola”. Kedua, preferensi masyarakat akan produk wakaf uang-tunai adalah produk wakaf uang-tunai yang tetap (abadi). Ketiga faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi preferensi wakif terhadap produk wakaf uang-tunai adalah: faktor perilaku wakif, faktor komplain, faktor kegiatan produktif, faktor kekayaan, faktor karakteristik produk, faktor religiusitas dan faktor kedermawanan.
